SIGNATURE INN SAN FRANCISCO MARINA DISTRICT, San Francisco – Your ideal downtown stay

I had a mixed experience at this hotel. While the rooms were clean and there was a bonus that pleasantly surprised me, they were also a bit noisy at times. Over my 3- to 4-day stay in the middle of my trip, I found the rooms to be old but well-maintained. However, the noisy environment was a downside for me.

My stay at the hotel was pleasant overall. The rooms were clean and comfortable, but the noise at night was a bit bothersome. The service was a mixed bag, with some helpful staff but also encounters with rudeness. The location was fantastic for exploring San Francisco, although the dining options were limited. The price paid was fair for the experience.

The hotel rooms were average, nothing extraordinary but suitable for the city. There was a leak from the fridge upon arrival, with a strong chlorine smell initially, and the rooms were smaller and darker than advertised. The service was friendly but with continuous smoking leading to a pervasive smell throughout the hotel and an error claiming our reservation was canceled. The location was great for walking to the Golden Gate Bridge and Park, while being close to Fisherman's Wharf, with some disappointments in cleanliness and service. The dining area was limited in space, and meals had to be taken back to the room. Despite some drawbacks, the hotel has everything nearby and is in a quiet area close to key attractions in San Francisco.
